FAITH || The One Who Means What He Says

Hello Royalty.

Welcome to a new and beautiful week. I hope your weekend was great. Mine was pretty interesting and I had some shopping up my sleeves. ?

This picture explains how much joy I have in my heart because I discovered something this past weekend that has made me see everything through better eyes. One of my sisters and I were talking about childbirth and stuff that relates to it. She told me how she found out the tolerance level of pain for an average human being to be about 20 – 30 something in numbers and that of childbirth to be about 50-something. Now I’m not claiming that as a fact; but I also read sometime that the pain of childbirth is second to the most painful thing in the world – being burned alive (I don’t know how factual this is too). However, we get a glimpse of what it could feel like. Don’t we?

Our conversation then came down to how something said by God might seem ordinary, when it’s really not. When God said to Eve, “in pain will you give birth”, who knew the gravity of such pain? In the same vein, when God says something that sounds as simple as “I will bless you”, believe you me, you have no idea what He has in store. That’s why Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can ask or think. You see that?

I urge you this week and beyond to hold on to God’s word dearly, believing that He says what he means, He means what He says and He is not a man that He should lie. I’m fully adhering to this truth; you’d do well to do the same.

Goodbye Royalty,

With Overflowing Love,

Alexandra Zion.
