LIFESTYLE || 3 THINGS THAT ARE ALWAYS IN MY BAG

Hello Royalty.

As always, it feels super good to be writing to you once again. I did mention last Friday, that a “What’s in my bag?” post was going to be coming up on the blog today. This is essentially because of the votes on my last Instagram poll and the DMs I received. Did you have a good week and are you looking forward to the weekend? My week was good, on the most part, and I am totally looking forward to the weekend, because it is the BIRTHDAY WEEKEND!

Unlike previous years, I have no plan whatsoever for my birthday this year, but I see myself un-boxing gifts and being overwhelmed with showers of love and kind messages too. I am also open to surprises.? Waiting for January the 21st likeeee ??????

But in the mean time, let us get to today’s post!

Three Things that are Always in My Bag

  1. Wallet

This goes everywhere with me. As long as I am leaving the house or wherever I might be staying, I always ensure to have my wallet in my bag. The only exception is when I am attending an event where I would only be taking a small purse. In such cases, I keep the cash and/or card in a little zip.

2. Phone

This is an essential. Apart from the fact that I am actually doing one thing or another on my phone almost every time, I ensure it goes in my bag whenever I am on my way out. If I’ll be long, I also go with the phone’s charger or a power bank.

3. Sunglasses

These are my “do not leave home without ’em” accessory. Why? Living in a region like Nigeria where the sun is scorching, whether in dry or rainy season, sunglasses are an essential. And asides that, you get to look cool without efforts and you can shy away from others when you want to. ?

Things that are often in my bag:

While I never miss those three things in my hand bag, here are other things that are usually with me.

  • A Book: depending on where I am going and how long the journey is going to take, I have my book to keep me company.
  • Earphones: Music makes everything better. But Yes, sometimes I am also guilty of having ears plugged without listening to anything. ??‍♀️
  • Hand Lotion: So much for being dry-skinned and wanting my palms to stay moisturized.
  • Tissue paper: This is the “save me from embarrassment” essential. Toilet needs, Stain on a part of your body, etc.
  • Sanitary towels: The ladies get the drill.
  • Few sticky notes and a pen: In case your phone battery goes flat and you have no other option, you can always take down important info with these.

So yes, that is it! All the secrets spilled on a platter of gold. ?

I hope you enjoyed reading this, even more than I enjoyed writing it. Did you miss my last post on What to do when God says “NO”? Click HERE to read it now.

As always, a new blog post comes up on Monday!

Goodbye Royalty,

With Overflowing Love,

Alexandra Zion.
