LIFESTYLE || RANDOM WRITINGS X WHAT GOES DOWN IN MY NEWSLETTERS

Hello Royalty.

How are you feeling today?

Today, I am sharing two of my random write ups with you – read that as two of my “I-don’t-know-why-I-wrote-this-but-I-did” writings. They are usually spurred by an everyday activity, a thought, an idea, event – anything and everything. Enough talking yeah? Let’s get to it!

You can call this first one a bad Blue Band day. I usually fry my eggs with butter, melted butter (yes, you read that right) and I use Blue Band. It is so much more tastier than eggs fried with plain oil (ugh! ?) Who’s with me? (Haters will say its unhealthy ?)

So after trying to make breakfast on this day, I ended up typing away angrily on my phone:

I’m having a bad day – a ridiculously bad day. Typing this isn’t easy for me because I’m confused about which sound is louder – that of my keyboard or the cry of my stomach.

This is no hate speech but I have had it with Blue Band this time.

Waffles and hot chocolate. I could have boasted of that as breakfast, except that the not so blue, Blue Band made it a salty, apologetic mess…two times in a freaking row! Don’t always allow second chances, y’know?

And then, I let it go. Maybe Bread and eggs for a second choice, but guess what? NEPA had other plans. I am here now, staring at the ceiling, eyeing my phone and waiting for a miracle – a feast, perhaps.

This second one was more of a re-realization that life is either A or B; there’s no neutrality. Here you go!

Too Busy Y’all!

When a man is busy for God, he has no time for the devil. In life, there is no such thing as being static – a person is either for one or for the other. Nehemiah was determined to build the wall with the people. Sanballat and Tobiah, however, were brimming with anger. They were against Nehemiah and were plotting through every means to bring him down .

In chapter 6, Nehemiah received a message to flee because attack was on its way. Immediately, he knew there was a problem somewhere. In his words, he clarifies “I’m doing a great work; I can’t come down” (Nehemiah 6:2-3 MSG)
